Red Oak Communications Ltd organized the 2024 World Meteorological Day celebrations, held on 23 March 2024 in Kericho, commemorating the establishment of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and highlighting the vital role of meteorological services in public safety, climate monitoring, and sustainable development.

The event was hosted at the Kericho Meteorological Station and officiated by Festus Ng’eno, with attendance from key stakeholders including Mary Njogu, Members of Parliament led by Beatrice Kemei, Kericho County officials headed by Wesley Bor, and the Director of the Kenya Meteorological Department, David Gikungu.

Held under the theme “At the Frontline of Climate Action,” the event attracted over 2,000 local residents, including students and community members. Activities included tree planting and community engagement initiatives, aimed at promoting climate awareness, environmental stewardship, and resilience to climate change.

Red Oak Communications was responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of the event, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and successful delivery of the celebrations.
