Red Oak Communications was engaged as the official Event Organizer for the inaugural Africa Climate Summit, the Africa Climate Week and a pre-summit Africa Youth Climate Assembly event, all of which ran from 1st – 8th September 2023 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
The events were co-hosted by the Government of Kenya and the African Union Commission. This was a high-level gathering that brought together over 20 sitting Heads of State and Government, retired Heads of State, Vice
Presidents, First Ladies, non-heads of state VVIPs, UN & Intergovernmental Organization heads, Country Delegations, NGOs, Youth Delegates, Private Sector, Academia and other non-state actors from all over the world totaling to over 20,000 delegates in attendance. The event consisted of High Level opening session, plenary sessions, side events, bilateral meetings, roundtable discussions, dinners and Exhibitions.
